LISTEN--Flutist Emmanuel Pahud performs Entr'acte from the opera Carmen by Bizet.   Many of you may have heard this with piano accompaniment.  Here is the orchestral version, which came first, played by the Berlin Philharmonic, one of the top orchestras in the world.  What a feature solo for the flute in an orchestral setting!  No pressure, as wonderful musicians sitting around you just listen--oh, and count measures until it is time to come in!
FREE MUSIC!  No Kidding!
Here
Just click above, download (PDF's) and play!  This site also has recordings of what the piece should sound like and accompaniments (MIDI style).  AND.....there is a metronome, tuner and blank staff paper for composing.
Enjoy!

Take a listen to some of the many flutists in the Chippewa Valley performing the flute quartet, Finlandia, by Sibelius.  Recordings were made and assembled in May of 2020.
How many flutists can you recognize?  Two are your FluteWild! Camp Faculty.

FluteWild Camp!

At our last camp, we Danced our way through past musical eras!   Before that, we Traveled Around the Globe, stood in awe of Giant Flutes and Performers, cooked up Holiday Celebrations, and became stars of the Stage and Silver Screen.  No matter what the theme, developing the flute player is our first priority.  Tone production, playing range, vibrato, rhythm, breathing, stage presence, practice techniques and a personal attention is included at FluteWild! Camp.  Teachers notice that young campers come back to school producing more matures sounds from playing and listening to older flutists.  Older flutists are always challenged with literature at their level or slightly beyond with plenty of techniques to get them to the next level.  A lot can happen in 4 days!
